Deposit: for larger events, a deposit of 25% of the rental price is required – this is payable in net cash. In case of cancellation of the event less than one month before the scheduled date, the deposit will not be refunded.

Planning meeting: for larger events, we offer a free planning meeting where you can visit and inspect the premises and discuss further details. If additional meetings are requested, there may be a supplement in the price for the time used.

We offer a range of catering packages that suit different types of events, hours, and gatherings. Please note that any additional catering not already included in the rental offering or these packages must be arranged externally, as the venue does not have a kitchen approved for cooking/heating (though a preparation kitchen/”Butler’s kitchen” is available).

In this case, we can share our experiences with various catering companies. We recommend that you arrange contact with catering companies or other external catering options yourselves, so you get everything just as you wish. However, we can assist with this contact.

You are also welcome to bring your own catering – we do not charge “corkage fees”, so it will not cost you extra.

Terms and conditions:

• Kitchen: Asia House has a preparation/”Butler’s” kitchen available. However, it is not approved for cooking, so there is only the possibility for food arrangement and serving.
• Decoration on walls/ceilings: as the building is of historical significance, it is not permitted to hang decorations, signs, etc., on the walls or from the ceiling.
• Opening hours and noise/music regulations: Asia House is generally rented out between 09:00 – 17:00 and can be kept open until 01:00 at the latest. Music must be turned off by 22:00.

When you rent a room in Asia House, the following is included in the price:

• Use of Asia House’s furniture, including tables, chairs, etc.
• Use of Asia House’s inventory, including tablecloths, plates, cutlery, glasses, coffee cups, etc.
• Use of Asia House’s AV equipment (as needed), including microphone, wireless projector, lectern, and assistance with setup from our staff.
• Setup before and cleanup after the event, including cleaning.
• Service during the event by our qualified staff.
• Possible assistance with coordinating menus and ordering catering.

Not included in the price:

• Catering – You can either arrange it yourselves, or we can assist you.
• Flowers and table decorations – However, you are welcome to bring your own.
• Additional planning meetings beyond the included free first meeting (for events and larger crowds).
